For that reason, Shadow processes your conversations locally on your device as much as possible. Currently, here are the processes Shadow performs on your device:

• Transcription
• Speaker Diarization

However, to provide certain features, some of your data must leave your device. The features that require this are:

• Generating Meeting Outline
• Using Skills
• Asking questions to Shadow

We use the transcript of your conversation to generate a meeting outline. Together, the transcript and outline are also used to perform certain Skills or answer your questions. To do this, they need to be shared with our third-party partners.
