How does Smart Screenshots work?

While you’re in a meeting, Shadow automatically takes screenshots every few seconds. To save space, it only stores screenshots locally on your device when there are significant changes on the screen.

Does Shadow send my screen data anywhere?

No. Shadow never sends your data unless you explicitly choose to share it by using AI-powered features like Ask or Skill.

Even then, your data is not stored externally. Everything remains local to your device, and you stay in full control.

When does Shadow view my screen?

Shadow only captures your screen when the listening widget is active.
